Marcos Provit S.A. was born out of the desire to provide the highest quality pharmaceutical services, contributing therefore to the increase of quality in people’s lives. The respect for our patients is the fundamental benchmark of our activity. We are fully preoccupied by the quality and the innovation of our commercialized products, as well as, by the continuous training of the personnel involved, which has now reached 563 employees.

2011
The company SC Marcos Provit SRL is established.
2012
The first Marcos Provit open circuit pharmacy opens at Glodeanu Sarat.
2013
The company is present in the rural area with 16 pharmacies, all located in Buzau county.
2014
Marcos Provit opens an authorized warehouse and the first pharmacies appear in Ialomita county.
2015
Marcos Provit also expands in Vrancea county and ends 2015 with a total of 34 pharmacies.
2016
The first Marcos Provit pharmacies are opened in Focsani and Marasesti.
2017
The Evofarm brand is born. This year 44 pharmacies were active in 4 counties in the country: Buzau, Ialomita, Vrancea and Braila.
2018
The year ends with a total of 72 pharmacies known since 2017 as Evofarm.
2019
Evofarm expands to Bacau county and by the end of the year it reaches a total number of 100 pharmacies operating in 5 counties in the country.
2020
Brasov becomes the next county in which Evofarm pharmacies appear.
2020
The Evofarm pharmacy chain is extended in 6 counties in the country: Buzau, Ialomita, Braila, Vrancea, Bacau and Brasov.
2021
The first Evofarm pharmacy is established in Buzau.
